Landscape Oil on Canvas, “Winter in the Forest”, Erik Walter Persson, 1956

A striking abstract landscape, titled ‘Winter in the Forest’. Excellent use of colour with sweeping brushwork in this atmospheric composition. The canvas sits within a solid oak tray frame. Erik Walter Persson (1918-1987), is a listed Swedish artist, who’s work is represented in both public and private collections in Sweden, including Malmö Museum and Ystad Museum of Art.
