A large abstract landscape study by Ivan Jordell. Painted in gouache on board, the painting is framed in a wide lime-washed pine frame with silvered slip.

Tord Ivan Jordell, born in 1901 in Katrineholm, Sweden, was widely known for his abstract landscapes, cityscapes and portraits. Jordell attended Skånska Målarskolan, Malmö (1930-31). His works have been exhibited at Göteborgs Konsthall, Linköping Museum, Moderna Museet, Malmö Museum and Statens Museum for Art.
