Born in San Sebastián in 1924, Eduardo Chillida was one of the foremost Spanish sculptors of the twentieth century and is widely celebrated for his monumental public sculptures and enduring fascination with interconnected shape, space and organic form. During the 60s, his graphics focused around abstract black lines on white, giving the appearance of realistic shapes.
